I could see another way was possible
so I made it happen: Women’s Circle
Whispering Moon
Women Circles are a path to our personal and communal story, they contain the seeds for change needed for the creation of a new social and global story.
“Our duty, I feel, is to keep our heart soft and welcoming to life. Keeping our heart soft is a journey of intimacy with ourselves, the more we practice it the better we can embrace change and serve the transformation that the Earth and all its inhabitants need to keep alive and thriving”

A Year Long Journey in Story, Stillness, and Self-Discovery for Women
Together with the quiet transitions of the moon, we gather to listen deeply — to ourselves, to one another, and to the timeless stories that carry wisdom through the ages.
Each month, we meet in a safe and nourishing circle for a practice of:
Deep Listening — a spacious welcome for your voice and your experience.
Meditation & Presence — grounding practices to return to the heart and create space in the mind.
Stories & Wisdom Teachings — drawn from myth, fairy tale, and contemporary insights to illuminate your path.
Blessing for the Month — a gentle affirmation to hold you in your journey.
A Task or Invitation — a mindful action to weave the month’s theme into your daily life.
This is not just a course — it is a living circle of transformation, where each meeting plants a seed that grows through your own reflections, conversations, and personal practice.
Over the year, you will:
Develop a richer connection with your own inner voice
See your life’s challenges through the lens of wisdom and compassion
Learn practices that bring calm, clarity, and resilience
Experience the power of shared story and collective insight
Create a personal compass for the next chapter of your life
Who it’s for
Women of all ages who are ready to pause, reflect, and walk their life path with renewed courage and grace
Whispering Moon blends my Story Compass Method — an approach grounded in psychology, mindfulness, and narrative exploration —
with the timeless rhythm of our gathering, listening, and growing together

Commitment
We meet once a month for eleven months to experience the full cycle of the year.
During this course you will have the opportunity to do some work between our meetings, to grow and enrich your inner world
The course ends in July giving participants the opportunity to ponder if they want to join again or not in September
Free Consultation
In Whispering Moon Women’s Circle I offer a free consultation for women that are considering to join the circle.
After our consultation you can pay for the first session only before committing for the year.
Confidentiality
Talking Circles are most important to me and I value the privacy that makes them sacred.
The boundaries will be clearly set and followed to keep confidentiality
You Need
This Circles are for women with some awareness of themselves, who have some experience of self-development and who want to work intimately with their creativity and spirituality.
Your Space
These Circles are a space for us women to find and feed our individual wisdom through our creativity.
These circles are not a training course, so the ideas and material I use is just for you to explore the topics that we are working on, but not to be used in another context, although I am open to chat about occasional exceptions and you can work with me one to one if you want to create your own circles
Closed Group
I like having a group committed to the work as soon as possible, so after the first circle, in September, I ask that women commit to the year.
But if you discover us after September, please contact me for a chat about the possibility of you joining us.
If you missed the first session but you really want to join us, contact me.
I can hold a circle for you or your organisation.
What People Are Saying
“I came across Whispering Moon after looking for a Woman’s Circle in Bristol.
I was initially nervous to join a new group and to be open and vulnerable with strangers, but I was feeling a deep need for spiritual communion and guidance. When I first arrived I was welcomed by Paloma with warm recognition and great kindness. I immediately felt accepted.
There is some magic in the circle which I can’t explain. It creates the opportunity for deep and honest reflection, and it is expertly held by Paloma. Because of the safety we feel in her hands we are able to speak from our most vulnerable and real places. It is a gift to be able to experience this, and to be surprised and amazed at each other as we really are. We are encouraged to proceed with bravery and integrity. The process is guided by myths, stories, archetypes and seasonal celebrations, and there is always the opportunity to be creative and share our work. It is a completely non-judgemental and non-hierarchical space.
Paloma is an exceptional circle-leader. She is a wonderful story-teller, she is honest and boundaried and inspiring and sensitive. It is a transformative and moving experience sitting in circle with her and all the women who attend Whispering Moon. The experiences of hearing and welcoming one another’s honest thoughts and feelings has the ability to be truly healing. I have learnt and grown a great deal through spending a year in the circle. I have felt myself become more confident, grounded and creative, and I have been offered a place on a writing course, something I would not have felt brave enough to apply for before Whispering Moon.
Whispering Moon is a profound celebration of feminine experience, transformation and love, and is rooted in a deep knowing of the earth and of each individual, and the group. I feel incredibly lucky to have found it.

When I signed up to the women’s circle with Paloma I was expecting it to be a talking circle, but I found it was a lot more than that.

Paloma holds a deep space of honoring. Honoring women, honoring our experience, honoring the rich textured realness of living embodied and spiritually connected lives. I experience her as a bard of women, celebrating each step we make towards our wholeness with exquisite, liberating and unconditional blessing. She brings a seers presence into the everyday, with the belly laugh of a woman who knows joy is the food of the soul. To sit in her circles and gatherings is restoring and reviving on all levels.

Working with Paloma.
In a simple sentence: it’s a true act of blessing. Despite my initial concern about how connected I would feel to the group (using Zoom) it actually had a deep and profound effect on me. The content, manner of delivery and passion of Paloma’s work comes across all the time and the energy of the session is never lost. Her commitment is total.
As well has feeling safe and at ease Paloma asked questions of us and we were given the opportunity to share or just listen to others. For me, this questioning is most important as it’s easy to just be with my own spiritual practice and feel safe there but another to open up the possibility that this isn’t over yet! My journey continues and I fully recommend working with such a highly skilful facilitator as Paloma.

I have learned the joy and relief of being able to relax and to really listen. I have also developed an ability to tune out of any mental commentary that crops up when another person is speaking.
To someone who is interested in joining I would say that being part of Whispering Moon has enriched my life in so many ways; I feel held and supported, it is a very special gathering where women are free to be themselves, where we meet without the need to compete.
Paloma’s warmth, sincerity, dignity and humility plus years of experience make this group the safe, welcoming, inspiring space to express, listen, support and learn to appreciate and celebrate each other’s strengths, without the need to ‘fix’ each other. A place where our wholeness, that is always present, can be encouraged to emerge.
